We went to Lake Tahoe expecting sunny slushy spring riding, but what we got was wind, snow and arctic temperatures down to 17°F! So we had to change our plans, from riding in shirts and hoddies back to warm jackets and powder guns.

Last weekend Hiasl met up with Heimi in Salzburg to go filming at St. Johann. Heavy snowfall on Saturday changed their plans, for some bad weather day tree runs in the woods of Zauchensee.

Finally winter has arrived in Austria. And he brought some fresh powder in his pockets. This fact and the weather forecast telling about even more snow made it quite an easy decision for Smeul and Hiasl to drive to Salzburg last weekend.

On 26th of October we headed to Dachstein to open the season finally on real snow.
