For all of you the long waiting has an end. Finally the DVDs of our new movie “Mosaic” have arrived. You can get it easily via our website, via E-Mail, webform (below) or simply ask your favourite Bamboo Crew Member. The movie will also be available in several shops all over austria and the rest of europe. We’ll keep you updated when the DVDs have arrived there.
The price is pretty good aswell. For only 14 Euros you will get the 35 minutes long movie and additional 30 minutes of Bonus Footage like Teaser, B-Movie…

MARC at NIKE 6.0 Teamshoot at Sweden

Marc and some other Euro Nike 6.0 shreds headed to Sweden at the end of last season to shoot with Onboard snapper Peter Lundstrom.

Stuhleck Season opening

The snowfalls in the last couple days also hit lower regions like our homeresort Stuhleck. So we decided not to go to a glacier again but hunt the snow, that was in our region.

We wanted to start the session at 11 o’clock. Hiasl and Kevin where already there when Karli and Rudi arrived. Rudi tried too proof that summertires work well on snow, but he fails and bombed his car into the trench. Pretty lucky although cause the car missed hiasl car by just 1,5 meter, a big stone by 40 cm and a tree by 30 cm.

Wögna @ Frontline Rail Jam 09

The Frontline Rail Jam 09 was happening on 14th of October at Sergelstorg square downtown Stockholm. I was super lucky to get invited by Kareem El Rafie to join the contest even though everything got a bit stressy with booking the flight just a few days before the contest. I arrived on friday, one day before the contest and I met with Wojtek Pawlusiak. Unfortunately we couldn’t reach Kareem so it took us like 3 hours wating and drinking tee until we got him on the phone and could finally check in to our hotel room =)

“Vienna gets a new Curbspot”

Ok, we know it is snowing out side, everyone is stoked to get ready for the winter and to hit some jumps or rails. But for all the guys who are not so much ready for this cold and freezing situation.

Hintertux Opening

Traditionally the first event of the season is the opening of Hintertux glacier. So we decided to clean the dust of our boards, wax it and take it out for a first ride.

On Thursday Hiasl and Thommy started their trip to Hintertux. Friday morning brought some clouds but you could  already hope for some sunshine. Beeing on snow again after a some time brought a lot of motivation and so the two got up to the glacier pretty early. This got rewarded cause after one hour is started to clear up and the rest of the day was a mixture of sun and clouds. Although the snow situation on the glacier was really bad, the park crew was able to provide a very nice set-up. Beside the typical pro kickerline with 15m/18m you could ride the beginner line a corner, some boxes and a downrail. Tommy decided to take some nature and lifestyle shots while Hiasl checked out the small kickerline to get a status of his ankle which was broken a few month ago. Combined with not many people on the hill is was a pretty sweet first day.

“MOSAIC” Worldpremiere was epic!!

On Friday the 9th of October the Bamboo´s presented their 2009 Snowboardmovie Mosaic at Club Sternberg Wiener Neustadt. At 21:00 the fist party people showed up and followed by more of them, minutes befor the Premiere the Club was crowed with hundrets of exited snowboard fans, who wanted to see the new Bamboo Movie!!
